The iF design award was established in 1953 in Germany where the modern design was originated, and is recognized today as one of the most prestigious global design awards in the world. The iF logo is an internationally established symbol identifying outstanding achievements in design

From total 5,295 entries by 2,458 participants from 53 countries: a 58 member-strong jury comprised of international experts convened at Schuppen 52 located in the port of Hamburg from 19 to 21 January 2016 to determine the winners of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2016.
